About the position
Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled People). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.
The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home.
Who are you?
The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer.
Requirements for the position:
Valid driver's license and access to a car to commute to work
Good proficiency in Swedish
Non-smoker during working hours
Tolerant towards pets
Merits for the position:
Experience in personal assistance or similar healthcare roles
Personal suitability will be given great weight.
Working hours, employment percentage, and salary
The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means work on an as-needed basis. Working hours are scheduled from 09:00-21:00, 21:00-09:00, or as 24-hour shifts. During the night, there are 7 hours of on-call time.
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits according to collective agreement.
Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.
