The Social Services Department in Örkelljunga Municipality consists of social services, elderly care, municipal health and medical care, care for people with disabilities, and preventive functions. We are organized into a preventive unit, an authority unit, and an executive unit. Our guiding principle is teamwork, leveraging the strength of a small municipality by working closely together in short decision chains for an efficient organization and a business-oriented perspective.

Job Responsibilities
The tasks are varied and may include, among other things, support with shopping, motivation to maintain structure and schedules, support in well-being, and contact with various authorities in the supported living service. In home care, this includes everything from personal care, daily chores at home, medication, and social contact. The individual's varying needs are met based on an individual implementation plan. As a casual employee in home care or supported living, you will collaborate with the unit's nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.
Documentation is an important part of the work to ensure users' needs are met in the best possible way. We use Lifecare as a system for social documentation and Intraphone to plan our interventions. It is the individual need that determines which interventions are relevant and how often they are provided. Interventions are assessed for support according to the Social Services Act.
Working hours are scheduled throughout the week, with varying shifts.
Qualifications
A valid B-class driver's license is required for all positions.
We are looking for you who have experience as:
- Assistant Nurse (to be employed as an assistant nurse, proof and a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare are required)
- Care Assistant
- Caregiver
- Or similar education and experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Pedagogical or treatment-oriented education
- Experience with Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Competence and work experience within the area of operations and target groups
You have knowledge, experience, and a genuine interest in working with people. Your ability to find a good balance between helping and guiding is strong, and it is natural for you to be a good role model for users and colleagues.
Your drive, engagement, and positive attitude create a meaningful everyday life for users, where the individual's needs are at the center. You are self-reliant and have a good ability to plan your day and can adapt to changed circumstances, believing that nothing is impossible! The team is small, where cooperation, care, and flexibility together with your colleagues are crucial.
You are computer literate and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Working Hours: Day/evening/weekend
Interviews are conducted continuously during the application period, and appointments are made according to agreement.
During the interview, you will need to prove your citizenship. This can be done with a passport or alternatively a certificate of registration together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit, which is required after control according to the Aliens Ordinance.
