Job Responsibilities
As a Home Care Coordinator, you have a holistic view of the operations and are responsible for the daily coordination and scheduling of interventions in the home care area. You work in close cooperation with the section manager, employees in the section, and within the resource area to ensure a well-functioning operation.
The role includes responsibility for absence planning and short-term staffing, which you primarily work with in the Lifecare planning system. You receive orders from the authority and handle ongoing administrative and operationally close tasks.
You have daily contact with care recipients, relatives, as well as internal and external partners. As a coordinator, you create schedules and have a professional and respectful attitude towards employees. Good treatment is central to the role, and you are confident in daily dialogues with employees, where cooperation and good communication are crucial for success.
Working hours vary according to the schedule and are usually between 06:45 and 15:30. Weekend work may occur in the position.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Approved upper secondary education
- Experience in a similar administrative or coordinating role within healthcare
- Experience using the computer as a tool and aid, and have the willingness and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new programs and systems
- Experience working in the Lifecare planning system
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is meritorious if you have:
- Upper secondary education with a focus on care and nursing
- Previous experience working in the systems Medvind and Vikariebanken
- Experience in municipal operations
The role of Home Care Coordinator requires you to have a clear holistic view and consider the best interests of the operation in both decisions and actions, while understanding your own role and its significance. You have good cooperation skills and work attentively and constructively with others, even when different needs must be balanced. You are service-oriented, calm, and attentive in your treatment, with a willingness to help and find solutions. Furthermore, you are stable and secure when the pace varies and conditions change, and you can prioritize correctly. You work structured and independently by planning, organizing, and driving your work forward with responsibility and engagement.
