Make a difference. Every day.
Do you want to work at a primary care centre with friendly colleagues, room for reflection, and professional development? Do you value working in multidisciplinary teams where we continuously develop our operations with a focus on medical quality and a good work environment? Then you are the ST (Specialist Training) doctor we are looking for!
Laröd Primary Care Centre is a stable, well-functioning, and expanding unit with over 7,000 registered patients and approximately 280 registered children at the associated Child Health Centre (BVC). We operate a branch in the local area where we offer both emergency and booked appointments for doctors and nurses, as well as a clinic focused on health promotion, prevention, and early interventions.
We are very proud of our good work environment, focusing on satisfied employees and patients, as well as high care quality. For us, it is important to offer our patients good accessibility, respectful treatment, continuity, security, and high medical competence. We often receive excellent feedback from our patients, and below is an example of what one of our patients wrote to us:
"I am genuinely happy to be part of Laröd Primary Care Centre and to be met by a fantastic group of people with great flexibility and a wonderful view of humanity. I would like to ask you to continue in the same innovative spirit regarding flexibility, which is something incredibly unique and valuable for the individual."
About 30 dedicated employees from various professional categories work in cross-professional teams here to provide the best possible care for our patients. The team consists of specialist doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and secretaries. We offer a Child Health Centre (BVC), doctor's clinic, district nurse clinic, specialist nurse clinics for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, hypertension, infections, lifestyle, vaccinations, memory clinic, and elderly care clinic, as well as clinics for occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists.
We are also proud to be an Academic Primary Care Centre (AVC), which means we have research assignments from the Centre for Primary Care Research (CPF) by building bridges between the academic world and primary care. We participate in several research studies, including those on lifestyle, mental health/illness, and hypertension. Since we have two associate professors working at the primary care centre, there are good opportunities for those who wish to combine research with their ST position.
