Parkdalaskolan is a newly established school for grades 4–9 where we build the future together. Here you work in modern, bright premises with good opportunities for collaboration and pedagogical development. Our full-time mentors are responsible for mentoring all students – which gives you, as a teacher, more time for what you do best: teaching.

The school is centrally located with proximity to both the city center, swimming hall, and the nature-rich Brunnsparken. The lower secondary school has approximately 325 students, and the staff consists of about 50 dedicated employees.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves working as a student support assistant for a boy in the lower secondary school.

The work shall be designed with consideration for the student's needs and prerequisites in learning situations and in social interaction. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning. You should also promote close collaboration with other school staff as well as guardians.

We are looking for someone who enjoys their profession and has a great desire to develop and learn more. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We preferably seek male applicants as you will follow the student throughout the day, including during e.g., changing in the locker room.

The position is a hold-back position (part-time/temporary arrangement) and the extent is 90%.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should be able to communicate and build good relationships with students, colleagues, guardians, and other professionals you meet in your profession.

Since an extract from the criminal record is a statutory requirement, such must be presented to you if you become a candidate for the position. You have good computer skills and experience in using IT when supporting students in teaching.

Knowledge of low-affective handling is desirable.

It is meritorious if you have previous experience working as a student assistant/student support assistant.

Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
