District Nurse/Child Health Nurse for Danderyd Child Health Centre (BVC)

We at Danderyd Child Health Centre are now looking for you, a child health nurse or district nurse, to join our team.

Danderyd Child Health Centre is part of Danderyd Primary Care Centre, which consists of the Child Health Centre (BVC) with a Breastfeeding Clinic, HLM, and Rehabilitation. This gives us a unique opportunity to work together with and around the patient.

At Danderyd Child Health Centre, we are six BVC nurses, and we collaborate closely with our other units to ensure the best possible care for our families. Danderyd Child Health Centre is also part of the Danderyd Family Centre.

Job Responsibilities:

As a BVC nurse, you work from a holistic perspective with the child's health in focus.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, clinic visits, home visits, video consultations, telephone advice, chat support, parent groups, health promotion, and parenting support conversations, all in accordance with the guidelines of child healthcare. You will also receive continuous competence development within the field of child healthcare. If you have a 7.5 credit breastfeeding education, you will also partly work at our breastfeeding clinic. Doctors from the primary care centre also work at the Child Health Centre and the Breastfeeding Clinic.

Employment Type:

Permanent position. Full-time. Start date by agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with VUB (Specialist Competence) in Child and Adolescent Health or Open Healthcare. It is meritorious if you also have a 7.5 credit Breastfeeding Education. A driver's license is required.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.

- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational healthcare before employment.

- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
