About the Position

The Social Services Administration is now looking for a personal assistant to work with a wheelchair-using man in his 30s. The position is permanent. The workload is approximately 85%; in Boden Municipality, there is an opportunity to work full-time. This means you will perform the remaining working hours at different times or locations than your regular schedule.

A probationary period may be applied.

Responsibilities

The user needs support and assistance to manage daily life. The work involves assisting him with his needs for support and help during daily life and leisure, such as personal care, transfers, training, household chores, leisure activities, etc. The user is fully competent but has mobility impairments. The work involves scheduled hours – day, evening, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person who has well-developed empathy, a good understanding and respect for the difficulties and opportunities of people with disabilities, as well as respect for individual privacy and self-determination. Meritorious qualifications include having studied the Nursing Program, Child and Leisure, or having training as a personal assistant and/or experience from the profession.

A driver's license and access to a car are meritorious as the workplace is located outside the city center and bus connections are limited.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
