Our Operations

Internal Medicine is part of the Department of Medicine, Dermatology and Rheumatology and has regional and county-wide responsibility for both outpatient and inpatient care within internal medicine. We are also involved in acute medical care within intermediate care and medical emergency services.

Although the hospital is large, the distance between our different specialist areas is short. Here, there are good opportunities for development through stimulating interactions with colleagues and patients, as well as through mentoring medical students. Together, we create a challenging and developmental workplace where freedom under responsibility is a given.

Your Role

As a specialist physician with us, you will work with standard ward duties on the emergency department, medical department, and intermediate care department. The role also includes working at the emergency clinic with internal medicine acute cases. Teaching students and younger colleagues is a natural part of the assignment. The on-call duties consist of medical on-call shifts based on experience and competence.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician and specialist in internal medicine. A double specialization in a relevant area is an advantage. Experience in teaching, research, and medical development work is considered a merit.

Your Competence

We value good teamwork skills, openness, and clear communication. You have a strong interest in education and in driving medical development within the department.
