JENSEN Primary School was founded in Uppsala in 2010 and is today a popular school with satisfied students and parents. JENSEN Primary School Kåbo offers education for students in grades 4–9.

We are looking for you who want to develop and contribute to our students achieving success in all aspects of life. As a school nurse at JENSEN Education, you will have the opportunity to take overall responsibility for the school's medical student health services, together with engaged and competent colleagues and accessible management.

In your role, supported by JENSEN's Central Student Health Services, the school doctor, and our other school nurses across the country, you will be responsible for planning and organizing your work according to current guidelines for the medical component of student health services. You will be part of the school's student health team, collaborating with other student health competencies and contributing your expertise in medicine, health, and nursing. Teamwork within the student health team is crucial to us, and personal suitability is of course highly valued.

We are a school for students with high ambitions, which also means we have high positive expectations for our students. Safety, well-being, and good health are crucial for our students to achieve good results in school. We have a stated health profile where our students, among other things, practice mental training every day and take a pedagogical walk during the day's longest lesson.

Responsibilities

• Work health-promoting and preventive at the individual, group, and organizational levels.
• Conduct health conversations and be responsible for health examinations and vaccinations.
• Be part of the school's student health team.
• Be responsible for the medical component of student health services.
• Collaborate and cooperate for the benefit of the student.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education focused on district nursing, child and adolescent health, or school nursing. Experience working as a school nurse is an advantage.

We expect you to have good skills in structure and planning. We assume that you are independent, flexible, proactive, enjoy working in teams, and collaborate closely with school staff. You have a good and empathetic approach, as well as the ability to build trust with students, guardians, and colleagues. Furthermore, you are responsible and approach your work with great engagement. You care about your own health and would like to work for a company that prioritizes health and well-being.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent employment with an engagement level of approximately 50%, starting August 6th or as agreed. The position begins with a six-month probationary period.
