The Role
This is a sales role where you work at the intersection of business and people. You work with qualified inbound leads from individuals who have already taken the first step towards publishing their book by submitting their manuscript. Your task is to continue the dialogue, build trust, and guide the customer through the next steps in the process. The sales approach is consultative and requires both structure, clarity, and a good ability to meet people in various situations. You help the customer understand the process, set the right expectations, and drive the business from start to finish. You own the entire sales process – from first contact to closing – and work systematically in CRM (HubSpot).

Your Responsibilities

  • Contact and follow up on qualified inbound leads.
  • Drive a consultative sales process focused on trust and clarity.
  • Work towards clear requirements and set sales goals.
  • Handle questions, objections, and different expectations.
  • Drive deals all the way from first contact to closing.
  • Work systematically in CRM and follow your pipeline.
  • Contribute to the development of working methods, conversion, and insights.
  • You work with both our imprints/brands Lava Förlag and Bookea (formerly Vulkan).
  • You work with approximately 150 leads per month, both new and older leads.
  • The sales cycle is on average around 2 months.
  • After a deal is closed, the project is handed over to a project manager, but you are crucial in creating a professional and secure start for the customer.

  • See yourself as a salesperson and are motivated by results.
  • Have experience driving deals from first contact to closing.
  • Are confident, trustworthy, and good at meeting people.
  • Can combine structure and pace with sensitivity.
  • Follow up and drive deals forward – even when it requires patience.
  • Are self-reliant and thrive with independent responsibility.
  • Have experience with CRM, preferably HubSpot.
  • Have an interest in data and the interplay between sales and marketing.
