About the Role

This is a full-time consultancy assignment lasting 6 months. You will be employed by Bravura and work as a consultant for our client. There are good opportunities for extending the assignment.

The company is a leading player in the Swedish grocery retail sector, working to develop attractive assortments and strong private labels for several well-known store chains. You will become part of a business-close organization where the assortment is at the center, and you will have the opportunity to work with categories that are important for both the customer experience and the company's continued growth. Responsibilities

In this role, you work closely with experienced category managers and support the work of developing and optimizing assortments, businesses, and category strategies. The role combines category management with coordinating responsibilities, giving you a broad understanding of the entire business.

You are responsible for creating decision support materials, conducting analyses, and coordinating various activities between internal functions and external suppliers. The role involves many contact points and a central function in ensuring that processes and projects are driven forward efficiently.

Examples of tasks:

  • Create analyses and supporting materials related to sales, assortment, and category development
  • Coordinate activities related to product development
  • Handle item and supplier administration
  • Participate in tenders, contract management, and follow-ups
  • Coordinate communication between internal functions and external partners
  • Document decisions and follow up on activities within the category area

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in fields such as economics, procurement, logistics, or similar
  • Good computer and system skills
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits:

  • Experience from the grocery retail industry
  • Experience in category management, procurement, or similar administrative and business-close roles
  • Experience from retail stores
  • Knowledge of Excel and SAP
