Responsibilities
As an Account Manager at Axel Larsson, you play a central role in developing the business within the districts of Dalarna, Gästrikland, and Uppland. You work closely with industrial customers with varying needs and technical challenges, acting as a long-term partner and advisor based on their specific conditions. The role involves active field work where you spend a significant part of the week at customer sites, with travel and some overnight stays being a natural part of the job. Through high visibility in the field, you identify business opportunities, drive the dialogue forward, and build relationships based on trust.
You work on developing existing customers and actively pursuing new business. The business varies from ongoing deliveries to more complex projects, requiring you to adapt your working method to the situation. The role entails overall responsibility for the sales process, from needs analysis and quotation to negotiation and closing, in close collaboration with internal functions such as inside sales, production, and product specialists to ensure the right solution for the customer.
Examples of tasks:
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Drive sales towards both existing and new customers
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and negotiations
- Take responsibility for the entire sales process – from needs analysis to closing
- Develop customer-specific solutions in collaboration with internal specialists
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
- High school education, preferably with a technical focus
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within industry or a technical environment
- Experience working independently and driving business forward
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Experience working with CRM systems and good knowledge of Excel
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
We consider it an advantage if you also have:
- Post-secondary technical education
To succeed in this role, you need to be self-motivated and enjoy taking full responsibility for your own sales. You plan your work yourself and ensure you are active and present at customer sites, as that is where you build your business and create results. You are results-oriented and motivated by achieving your goals, while working systematically in your sales efforts and following up on your business over time. You have a business mindset and understand how to create value in customer dialogue. Furthermore, you are relationship-building and have the ability to create trust by understanding the customer's needs and contributing relevant solutions.

Start: Immediately, subject to notice period
Location: Upplands Väsby or home office within the district
Salary: According to agreement
