We are looking for someone who wants to be in charge of our Bistro during evenings and weekends, while simultaneously working actively with sales in our manual counters. This is a role where you combine personal service in the dining area with practical work in the shop – a perfect assignment for you who enjoy both customer interaction and a fast-paced environment.

About the role

• You work 1–2 evenings per week and every other weekend.
• You act as a Bistro Host – greeting guests, serving food & drinks, setting tables, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• You also work in our manual counters, selling fresh fish, cheese, charcuterie, and ready-made meals.
• You collaborate closely with the kitchen and shop staff.
• On certain evenings, you are responsible for small events or wine tastings.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2–3 years of experience from restaurants, cafés, or retail.
• Is social, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.
• Has an eye for details, table setting, and ambiance.
• Enjoys switching between serving and shop duties – and can greet guests with warmth whether in the dining room or over the fish counter.

Extra plus if you:

• Have experience with sales at a manual counter (fish, cheese, charcuterie, ready meals).
• Have basic knowledge of wine/beer (or are eager to learn).

NOTE – according to the Alcohol Act, you must:

• Be at least 20 years old.
• Be approved as the responsible person for alcohol service by the municipality.

Note: According to the Alcohol Act (Alcohol Act (2010:1622) Chapter 8, Section 18) the person responsible for alcohol service must be at least 20 years old. This is a legal requirement we must adhere to in order to offer the role of responsible person for alcohol service.

How we work

The Bistro is open when the shop is open. You are often the one who welcomes, serves, keeps order, and simultaneously engages with customers who wish to shop at the counter. The position requires a strong presence in the premises, good customer awareness, and the ability to handle a fast pace.
