Are you an experienced credit risk specialist who thrives on analyzing, challenging, and strengthening risk management in a complex business environment? We are now looking for a senior consultant for an exciting assignment in the financial sector, where you will play a key role in ensuring sound and sustainable risk management.

In the role of Senior Credit Risk Specialist, you will belong to an independent control function (second line of defense) responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and reporting credit risks. You will become a vital part of the work to develop risk awareness within the organization and ensure that operations adhere to established risk frameworks and regulations.

• Analyze, check, and report on credit risks
• Monitor and follow up on risk appetite, risk limits, and risk indicators
• Evaluate the organization's credit risk profile
• Conduct risk-based audits and monitoring
• Deliver training, workshops, and contribute to increased risk awareness within the organization
• Provide expert knowledge on credit risk and regulatory requirements

• Several years of experience working with credit risk, lending, or risk management within the banking or financial sector
• A good understanding of credit risk models and risk governance
• Experience with SQL and SAS
• Fluent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Experience with Basel regulations
• Knowledge of IRB (Internal Ratings-Based) models
• Experience with model risk or the development/validation of credit risk models

• Analytical and structured
• Independent and proactive
• Communicative with the ability to explain complex risk issues in a pedagogical manner
• Accustomed to collaborating with different parts of the business
