The Home Care service in Kumla Municipality aims to provide the best possible service, care, and nursing to the municipality's residents based on assistance decisions. The Home Care service in Kumla is growing; we have recently expanded from four to five home care groups. We are centrally located in the Home Care building from which all home care in the municipality operates. We provide home care throughout Kumla Municipality and use both bicycles and cars as work tools.

Job Responsibilities
As an assistant nurse in home care, you will have a varied, challenging, and flexible job. You will visit clients in their own homes. They are of all ages, in different stages of life, and have different needs.
You will perform interventions in our clients' own homes. The interventions are determined by assistance decisions according to the Social Services Act (SOL), for example, personal care and activation, but can also be tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) performed via delegation and on behalf of a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist, for example, dispensing medication. We work from a health-promoting approach with a focus on preventing risks and taking measures if needs arise.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are motivated by providing support and care to others and who have the ability to meet our clients with empathy and respect. You are responsible and careful and have personal maturity. You need to be able to communicate in a structured way. You also need to be able to create, read, and follow up on implementation plans and, based on your medical competence, assess situations and take appropriate measures. Since the work requires communication and documentation, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. Good IT skills are also a plus, as is experience with documentation systems such as Life Care.
To work as an assistant nurse, you need to have approved final grades as an assistant nurse and a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding the protected professional title. Since we are looking for several assistant nurses for all home care groups, you need to be able to cycle. We also have car-based home care groups where you need to have a Swedish driver's license.
