The Social Services Department works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of the social services' mandate, various legislation, and the department's value base. This may include home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, financial assistance, or help with substance abuse problems. The department also houses the municipality's competence supply unit.
The Social Services Department is divided into five areas: Home Care, Care and Housing, Health and Medical Care, Individual and Family Care, and the area for people with disabilities.
You will be placed at the Rehabilitation Unit within the Health and Medical Care area, which consists of:
- Occupational Therapists
- Mobility Instructors
- Assistive Technology Specialists
- Assistant Nurses within Intensive Rehab

RESPONSIBILITIES
The occupational therapists at the Rehabilitation Unit work within home care, care and housing, individual and family care, and disability services. As an occupational therapist, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating rehabilitation measures. You have a good ability to work independently while actively contributing to effective teamwork with various professional competencies, where the patient plays a central role. Naturally, you have a good, respectful attitude and are attentive and open in your interactions with the individuals undergoing rehabilitation and their relatives. You must be able to provide advice and support to relatives and staff in occupational therapy matters. Documentation is done in the business system Procapita. Other systems used include, among others, LifeCare and WebSesam.
Responsibilities include, for example:
- Occupational therapy assessments
- Plan, execute, and evaluate rehabilitative measures
- Prescription of assistive devices
- Certificate writing
- Documentation
- Quality and business development
- Mentoring staff and students
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed occupational therapist.
As a person, you are positive, flexible, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. You have the ability to plan and structure your work based on conditions and requirements. It is obvious to you to take responsibility for and participate in quality and development work both at the unit and for yourself. The work requires good collaboration and communication skills towards patients, colleagues, and other professional categories.
Experience in similar work is meritorious.
Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
A Category B driver's license is required.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
