Our ward consists of 24 care beds where we treat acutely ill patients, primarily with surgical and medical conditions, but cardiology, urology, infectious diseases, pulmonology, and psychiatry are also part of our daily routine. To thrive with us, you should enjoy a fast pace with rapid changes and varied work with short care pathways.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a nursing assistant (undersköterska) with us, you are part of the patient care team. You work with nursing care, assessments, medical treatments, as well as social planning and ward rounds during daytime hours. Your tasks include nursing care and active participation in ward rounds, taking on the responsibilities appropriate to your profession on our ward. You will also provide guidance to students and colleagues based on their experience level.
We expect you to be interested in participating in the ward's operational development, taking personal responsibility, and working together with us to achieve our goals.
To ensure you get the best possible start with us, we offer an individually tailored introduction and training in consultation with your manager and mentor.
QualificationsYou are educated as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) or care assistant. You should be adaptable to changing circumstances and varying work paces, which are characteristic of working on an acute care ward. You have a strong patient focus and a high work ethic.
To assess employability, grades/certificates from your care education must be attached to your application.
Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.
We require at least one year of previous professional experience. Experience working in inpatient care is a significant plus. We place great emphasis on overall personal suitability.
