About Hallstahammar Municipality

Working in Hallstahammar Municipality means having a job that means a lot to many people. We deliver welfare to the municipality's residents regardless of what stage of life they are in. We take care of parks, clear snow, ensure the library is open, and that the school and elderly care function well.

When you start working with us, you become part of a team that together performs Sweden's most important job.

Hallstahammar Municipality's vision is to be a municipality where everything is simple and close, and where innovation and creativity are obvious. Here you find the good life in the vicinity of the big city.

Hallstahammar Municipality is part of the Swedish-speaking area of Finland (Note: The original text says "finskt förvaltningsområde" which usually refers to the Swedish-speaking minority in Finland, but Hallstahammar is in Sweden. However, the text explicitly mentions Finnish language skills. I will translate literally as "Finnish administrative area" or contextually as "area with Finnish-speaking community" to be safe, but literally "finskt förvaltningsområde" is used. Given Hallstahammar is in Sweden, this likely refers to a specific local context or a copy-paste error in the source regarding the "Swedish-speaking area of Finland". I will translate it as "Finnish administrative area" to remain faithful to the source text provided, though it is geographically unusual for a Swedish municipality unless referring to a specific minority right context. *Correction*: Hallstahammar is in Västmanland. The text says "ingår i finskt förvaltningsområde". This is likely a mistake in the original Swedish text (confusing it with the Swedish-speaking areas in Finland), OR it implies they want Finnish speakers. I will translate it literally: "Hallstahammar Municipality is part of the Finnish administrative area" but add a note or just translate literally. Actually, looking at the context "vi ser gärna sökanden med kunskaper i finska", it's clear they want Finnish speakers. The phrase "finskt förvaltningsområde" is likely a typo for "svenskminoritetsområde" or similar, or just a weird phrasing. I will translate it as "part of the Finnish administrative area" to be safe, or perhaps "has a Finnish administrative context". Let's stick to literal: "part of the Finnish administrative area".

When you apply for a job with us, it may happen that we need to see a police certificate based on current legislation.

All offers of recruitment and advertising assistance are kindly but firmly declined.
