Welcome to a job that actively improves Sweden's labor market! Our mission is to create social benefit by connecting job seekers and employers. At the same time, we are committed to providing legally secure and equal service to our citizens. Together, we get Sweden to work! Do you want to join us?
Our Mission
Within the Business Area Coordinated Support, we provide coordinated interventions for job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and recruitment, while preventing incorrect payments and breaches of welfare systems. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who wish to broaden their recruitment, based on our local anchoring and knowledge of the labor market.
Our Workplace
The Northern Gothenburg unit has offices in Hisingen and Kungälv and consists of approximately 150 employees. The following municipalities are included in the unit's area of responsibility: Ale, Kungälv, Lilla Edet, Orust, Stenungsund, Tjörn, Öckerö, as well as parts of the City of Gothenburg: the districts of Western Hisingen, Northern Hisingen, and Lundby.
Together, we work towards common goals and can always count on each other's support in our daily work. Our leadership means that we lead with a results-oriented approach, using a close and coaching attitude that encourages participation, motivation, and responsibility.
Job Description
As an Employment Advisor within Coordinated Support, you work intensively with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or remain on the labor market. The work is primarily carried out through physical meetings and in close collaboration with employers, authorities, and other actors to coordinate interventions based on the individual's needs. You also work with employers based on competence supply needs and support them in broadening their recruitment.
An important part of the mission is to inform about the Swedish Public Employment Service's services, as well as rights and obligations, and to provide support on the path to work. You also handle incoming cases via telephone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs.
To succeed in the role, you work in a structured manner and are confident in interpreting and applying laws and regulations. You document in a legally secure manner, act professionally in meetings with people, and can navigate multiple systems simultaneously. The mission includes conducting investigative, guiding, and sometimes complex conversations, as well as working towards set goals.
Some of our new Employment Advisors will also work with the SIUS focus (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support). SIUS is a program for job seekers with disabilities who need individual support to find, obtain, or retain a job. The job involves close collaboration with employers in both the private and public sectors, as well as proactive employer outreach to find jobs for the job seekers.
Your employment begins with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in the role as a state official.
Our Offer
The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probation period. Start date by agreement. The location is Gothenburg.
We offer favorable vacation agreements, the possibility of flexible hours in agreement with the employer (after completing an introduction of approx. 9 weeks), workplace wellness activities, and a wellness allowance.
