About the role

As an accountant, you will have overall responsibility for accounts payable while contributing to process efficiency. You will work closely with the business in a team that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong detective mindset when dealing with discrepancies.

Responsibilities

You will have operational responsibility for daily accounting flows, focusing on accuracy, system understanding, and process efficiency in a changing environment.

• Manage accounts payable via EDI, email, and scanning in Monitor ERP
• Perform matching, booking, payments, and register maintenance
• Responsible for month-end closing and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Handle VAT reporting, periodic summaries, and Intrastat reporting
• Report salary information to external parties such as Collectum and IF Metall
• Administer expense reports and corporate cards
• Produce ad hoc reports in Excel and support accounts receivable as needed

We are looking for someone who has

• Extensive practical experience in ongoing accounting and booking
• Good understanding of accounting flows and bookkeeping
• Experience working with accounts payable and reconciliations
• Good skills in Excel for reporting and analysis, as well as good system proficiency
• Fluent in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have

• Basic knowledge of the business system Monitor ERP
• Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment under development
• Interest in financial analysis and future work with controlling
