Båstad Municipality has a newly built short-term care facility in Förslöv. If you want to help us make a difference in people's daily lives, you are welcome to apply. We are looking for a specialist nurse assistant or nurse assistant with a big heart and commitment, who has a rehabilitative perspective and wants to be part of performing Båstad's most important job.

Haga Park's short-term care facility with 18 single rooms is aimed at patients with various illnesses who need rehabilitation, mapping, respite, recovery, palliative care, etc.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee, you work with providing support and care in everyday life based on the patient's needs, abilities, and wishes as stated in the implementation plan. This includes, among other things, help and support with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and meal situations. We place great emphasis on a rehabilitative perspective to create a meaningful everyday life and provide security for the patients.

If you are also a person who is happy to share your knowledge and experiences while being open to learning from others, we see this as a role for you.

You collaborate not only with your colleagues in short-term care but also with other professions such as nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Ongoing documentation is part of the daily work, and you actively participate in systematic quality work.

In short-term care, we have a team-based and rehabilitative working method. You have a strong commitment to people and enjoy working by encouraging and supporting the patients' abilities based on their conditions. You are sensitive and have the ability to adapt to different situations that may arise.

The working hours are night shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nurse assistant or specialist nurse assistant; experience in similar tasks is meritorious.

You always put the individual needs of the patient in focus. As a person, you are positive, engaged, and unpretentious, have a professional attitude towards patients, relatives, and employees, and are flexible, thorough, and sensitive.

We work both in groups and independently, so it is important that you function in both contexts and have the ability to take initiative. You have a solution-oriented approach and as a colleague, you want to contribute to creating a good work environment with dialogue and participation.

You are aware of the purpose and importance of documentation, reporting, planning, implementation of measures, follow-up, and evaluation against the set goal. You master the Swedish language in speech and writing; good computer skills are needed as all documentation is handled with IT support. You can receive delegations of health care measures.

Short-term care has a high flow of admissions and discharges, so it is important that you are flexible and can handle a varying pace with varying tasks.
