We are now looking for an engaged planner for home care in Veberöd – an important function where you get the opportunity to grow and contribute to ensuring our users receive the best possible care.

About the role and your tasks

You are employed in a regular nursing assistant position during daytime hours (06:30-15:00) with shifts every other weekend. You work both administratively and in the field according to a set schedule.

In the role of planner, you are responsible for planning and scheduling the services approved for our users. The work involves regular contact with users, relatives, managers, colleagues, and assistance officers. You work in the HR portal and Lifecare. We have a coordinator who works Monday to Friday. There are two planners who work every other weekend each.

The position is a permanent employment as a nursing assistant. The assignment as a planner runs for six months at a time, with good opportunities for extension.

We offer all employees full-time work, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes per week. In your daily work, you are part of the users' everyday life and work to support them so they can live as meaningful, independent, and active a life as possible.

Qualifications

• Trained nursing assistant.
• Experience in similar work is meritorious, for example within elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Good digital competence, for example in connection with documentation.
• Cycling proficiency is required for work within home care services.
• A driver's license is meritorious.

You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and responsive – to users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand how important it is that every individual is involved and has influence over their daily life.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is important that you maintain calm and focus, even in situations where many things happen at the same time or during rapid changes. You need to be confident in yourself and able to set boundaries when necessary.

About the workplace

Lund Municipality's home care is divided into several areas. In each area, nursing assistants and care assistants work in teams with health care personnel under the leadership of a unit manager. Each area includes a unit administrator and a planner/coordinator. Home care offers service, nursing, and home nursing services to the municipality's users aged 65+.

Home care in Veberöd is located at Sjöbovägen 25. Here you work close to the manager, nurse, and other colleagues. We value our work environment highly, and there is great engagement among us who work here at the unit.

The goal of home care is to carry out assignments with high quality based on the individual's needs and wishes, as well as to provide the opportunity to remain living in one's own home.
