As an ST (Specialist Training) doctor with us in Rydebäck, you will become part of an engaged team working together for high medical quality and a good work environment.
About the location
Rydebäck Health Centre is part of public primary care and one of ten health centres in the Helsingborg area. We are a healthcare choice unit with 7,600 registered patients, located in the beautiful town of Rydebäck by the sea, on the border between Helsingborg and Landskrona. You can easily get here by train, bus, car, or on the magical cycle path available from both Landskrona and Helsingborg. The goal of this recruitment is to reach the benchmark of 1,100 registered patients per specialist.
Our health centre consists of a team of 30 engaged employees from various professions, striving together for high medical quality and to be among the top health centres in Skåne. We have several well-functioning clinics, including physiotherapy with a gym, psychology services, and a popular Child Health Centre (BVC) for families. We are also responsible for a new modern special needs housing facility (SÄBO). We believe the key to our success is that we work in teams around our patients and that every patient has a named doctor with an associated team. Our patients are offered good care and high accessibility via phone, 1177, and both digital and physical meetings. We set our vision and goals together, and here there is high participation, good cooperation skills, and great responsibility-taking by all employees, which contributes to the fine work environment and high scores in the employee survey.

Job Description
In the role of an ST doctor, you will have an exciting and challenging job with good conditions for broad training within the specialty. Your education will be tailored in consultation with your supervisor to ensure the training is as optimal and interesting as possible. You will work with common tasks such as planned and emergency doctor visits, act as a consulting physician for nurses, supervise students, and participate in rounds for assessment and triage.
The doctors at the health centre have different areas of responsibility, such as BVC and rounds in our elderly care homes, which are included in your training. Furthermore, cooperation matters with the municipality and other authorities are also included. Today, we have a well-staffed medical group consisting of specialists in general medicine as well as ST-, BT-, and AT-doctors. We would be pleased if you, after completing your specialist training, wish to continue your development with us and contribute to the long-term development of our health centre.
A permanent position as an ST doctor may be preceded by a fixed-term position as an assistant doctor for a period of three to six months, in accordance with regional guidelines for the appointment of ST-doctor positions within Primary Care.
Qualifications
Regarding formal requirements, you must have completed AT (Internship) or BT (Basic Training) and be a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare, as well as have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.
