Job Description

Are you an experienced geotechnical engineer who is passionate about technology and wants to work for an employer that values both your competence and development? AFRY is now looking for you, with a few years of experience as a geotechnical engineer, to join our headquarters in Solna, Stockholm.

AFRY is one of the leading players in geotechnical engineering in Sweden with over 120 employees. We work in close collaboration nationally and within different subgroups to further develop our working methods and projects. Our section has won several major framework agreements and exciting projects this year, which is why we are now looking for more engaged geotechnical engineers who want to be part of our journey.

The geotechnical section in Stockholm currently consists of 23 employees. The section comprises both junior and senior employees, conducting field operations for traditional geotechnical investigations as well as geophysical investigations and load testing of geotechnical structures. Within the section, we have also developed our own geotechnical laboratory for disturbed samples in recent years.

Within our Business Area Civil Engineering, we are today over 1,400 employees who, together with our colleagues in other areas at AFRY, create tomorrow's sustainable solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work within geotechnical assignments, from early stages to construction documents and site supervision
• Act as the technically responsible geotechnical engineer or case manager for larger multidisciplinary projects
• Function as a mentor for less experienced colleagues and contribute to their development

This role may involve security clearance. A security investigation with register check will be conducted prior to security-cleared assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience as a geotechnical engineer and who want to continue developing in a leading role. You are responsible and flexible, with an interest in working in a consultancy role.
