About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Lead for a long-term assignment within one of Sweden's most extensive energy and sustainability projects. The role entails overall responsibility for establishing, implementing, and monitoring the project's quality management system to ensure that all activities meet contractual requirements, applicable standards, regulations, and internal guidelines.

You will be a key figure in the project organization and contribute to ensuring high quality throughout the entire project lifecycle – from planning and design to execution and commissioning.

Assignment Details

  • Start: Immediately, according to agreement
  • Scope: Full-time
  • Location: Stockholm
  • Duration: Until March 2027
  • Extension possibility: 12 + 12 months

Key Responsibilities

As Quality Lead, you will among other things:

  • Develop and implement the project's quality management plan according to current standards and guidelines
  • Ensure that the project's quality processes and procedures are followed
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor inspections, audits, FAT tests, and other quality activities
  • Support and coordinate quality managers within various technical disciplines
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, construction, and engineering teams to handle quality issues
  • Ensure that contractors and suppliers meet the project's quality requirements
  • Coordinate external inspectors and regulatory contacts
  • Monitor quality deviations, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure corrective actions
  • Conduct internal and external audits
  • Identify quality risks and propose preventive measures
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within quality and compliance
  • Report quality status and KPIs to project management

Qualifications

Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in quality management within large industrial, energy, construction, or engineering projects
  • Experience from the energy, process, oil, or gas industry is advantageous
  • Experience as a Lead Auditor or responsible for audit work is highly advantageous

Competencies

  • Documented experience leading quality work in complex project environments
  • Experience with QA/QC processes, audits, inspections, and testing activities
  • Good knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and project management
  • Ability to coordinate multiple quality functions and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Other

For this assignment, completed safety and occupational health training according to the client's requirements is mandatory prior to start. Any certifications within quality, auditing, or project management are advantageous.
