Foreman for Groundworks & Public Lighting

Stadsbelysning Sverige AB is growing and is now looking for an experienced and engaged Foreman specializing in groundworks and civil engineering. We are looking for someone who thrives on taking responsibility, planning work, and leading staff, while having a solid understanding of field production.

In this role, you will have a central part in the execution of projects and maintenance contracts within public lighting, where quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are always the focus.

About the Role

As a Foreman, you are responsible for the daily planning and coordination of our groundworks and civil engineering projects. You lead our own employees and subcontractors, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with agreed requirements.

You will work closely with our project managers and play a key role in communication with municipalities, clients, and other partners. The work covers everything from excavation and reinstatement to new construction, renovation, and maintenance of public lighting installations.

The role includes responsibility for resource planning, material ordering, work preparation, documentation, and production follow-up. You are also a key part of the company's occupational health and safety and quality work.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who have experience leading personnel within the groundworks and civil engineering industry and who have a good understanding of how work is planned and executed on-site. You are a person who takes responsibility, makes decisions, and creates structure, while remaining unpretentious and enjoying close involvement with operations.

You have experience with excavation and reinstatement work, as well as good knowledge of occupational health, safety, and production planning. You are accustomed to coordinating multiple activities simultaneously and have the ability to foster good collaboration between employees, customers, and subcontractors.

Experience with public street lighting is highly meritorious, as are skills in low voltage and electrical installations. We would prefer if you have worked in municipal contracts where requirements for documentation, quality, and safety were a natural part of daily life.

Having qualifications such as ESA, BAS-U, BAS-P, Work on the Road, Work with Traffic Devices, or other qualifications often required in public contracts is a significant plus.
