At AKEP AB, you have a unique opportunity to be involved throughout the entire construction process, from early investigations and design to production and completion. Here, you will become an important part of a growing consultancy firm with the ambition to establish itself as a long-term partner in project and construction management.
You will work closely with the company's founder, Alexander Kovalonok, gradually taking on greater responsibility and following projects through their various stages. This role is ideal for you who want to take the next step in your career and develop into a more independent project manager, or for you who already have experience and are looking for a smaller organization where you will have greater influence and the opportunity to make an impact.
About AKEP AB
AKEP AB is a growing consultancy firm with specialist competence in project management, construction management, design management, and early-stage consulting. The company works closely with its clients on projects within industry, commercial properties, logistics, housing, and technically advanced construction. The focus is on long-term customer relationships, high quality, and creating value throughout the entire construction process.
With several major projects underway and a clear growth plan, the goal is now to strengthen the organization with an additional key person who wants to be part of the journey.
The Role of Project Manager / Construction Engineer
You will work in varied construction projects where you will gradually take on significant responsibility and gain a broad understanding of the entire project process. The role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Depending on your experience, the role will be adapted. If you have worked a few years in the industry, you will quickly take on greater independent responsibility, while those earlier in their career will have the opportunity to grow into the role with the support of an experienced project manager.
Your responsibilities will include among other things:
- Assist in and drive project management of construction projects
- Participate in construction meetings, design meetings, and site visits
- Responsible for documentation, schedules, and project follow-up
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Contribute to cost estimation, procurement, and design work
- Provide structure, coordination, and problem-solving throughout the different stages of projects
Qualifications
We see that you as an applicant have:
- A few years of experience from construction, contracting, or installation projects. Post-secondary education in construction, building technology, civil engineering, or similar is advantageous but not a requirement
- Good administrative skills and habit of working in a structured manner
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
- Project management or construction management
- Construction cost estimation or contracting projects
- Design management
- Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar systems
- BIM coordination or work in Solibri or other 3D tools
- Projects directed towards property owners or client organizations
Personal Attributes
We are looking for you who thrive with responsibility and are motivated by being involved in the entire development of the project. You are structured and meticulous, while also having the ability to prioritize, make decisions, and drive the work forward.
To succeed in the role, we believe you are self-reliant, proactive, and communicative. You build good relationships while also daring to set demands, handle challenging dialogues, and speak up when the situation requires it.
You appreciate an entrepreneurial environment where you get to influence, develop working methods, and contribute to the company's continued growth.
What We Offer
At AKEP AB, you become part of a smaller consultancy firm where decision-making paths are short and your contribution makes a real difference.
You are offered among other things:
- Great responsibility and the opportunity to influence both the role and the business
