About the Department
Occupational Therapy Mölndal is one of four occupational therapy units within the Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy department at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
The unit provides occupational therapy interventions in both outpatient and inpatient care.
We are a knowledge-intensive workplace with several PhDs, master's graduates, and doctoral candidates among our staff. In total, 35 occupational therapists work here, organized into two groups: the outpatient care group, responsible for hand rehabilitation and rheumatology, and the inpatient care group, which works on wards within orthopedics, geriatrics, as well as stroke and medicine.

Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with a variety of patient interventions, such as assessment and training of activity and cognitive abilities, as well as prescription of assistive devices. The work is based on both national and local guidelines and prioritization orders. You will work in interprofessional teams together with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, assistant nurses, social workers, and speech therapists to ensure the best possible care.
About You
You are a trained and licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience in rehabilitation within somatic acute care. You thrive in a varied work environment and have a good ability to prioritize your tasks. You are a confident and cooperative person who contributes with your engagement and wishes to develop in your professional role. We see that you have an interest in clinical development work and are willing to contribute to the continued development of the department. Personal suitability is of great importance.
