Do you want to become part of something bigger and contribute to sustainable development in Norrbotten, both within the county and towards the outside world?
We are now looking for you who want to contribute to Norrbotten's reindustrialization and societal transformation by working strategically with energy and climate issues in an exciting and developing environment. We believe you have a relevant higher education or university degree with a good understanding of the energy sector. We would also like you to have experience from working in politically governed organizations or in environments where complex societal issues are handled in collaboration between several different actors. You are expected to work both independently and in teams within your area of responsibility, but also in close cooperation with colleagues in other units and with external actors. It is an advantage if you thrive in contexts where several organizations share responsibility and where success is based on dialogue, collaboration, and good relationships.
You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English. We value your ability to build trust, establish relationships, and contribute to constructive processes where different perspectives need to meet.
About the role as Energy and Climate Strategist:
- Implementation of initiatives related to the electrification action plan
- Plan and administer activities related to the energy and climate sector
- Participate in internal and external collaboration groups
- Organize networking meetings and conferences
- Process and prepare official statements (remisser)
The work involves travel within the county as well as nationally. The areas of responsibility in these positions may change and other work areas may be added, partly to promote your development but also because our assignments change over time.
We are looking for you who have
- a relevant academic education in energy technology or another suitable educational background for the position
- experience of working with investigations and energy system analyses
- experience of strategic work within energy and climate issues
- experience of project management within energy issues
- experience of collaboration with actors within the energy sector
- good ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English
- a valid driver's license for passenger cars.

You are a strategic team player who has the ability to translate strategies and action plans into practical action and concrete results. It is a prerequisite that you enjoy working in teams, and it is an advantage if you thrive in contexts where several organizations share responsibility and where success is based on dialogue, collaboration, and long-term relationships.
You are curious and like to stay updated (environmental scanning) and appreciate contributing to the development of others.
It is an advantage if you have
- Knowledge of the county and the regional conditions within the energy sector.
- Knowledge within the hydrogen field
- Experience of working with preparedness
- Experience of planning and conducting conferences/seminars and training.

Good to know
We use a six-month probationary period.
If you are called for an interview, you may be asked to complete a work test.
