Fågelsångens School (Grades F-9)
Fågelsångens School is a F-9 school with approximately 425 students in regular school and 13 students in Adapted Primary School. The school features bright, adapted classrooms and other facilities. On the after-school program (fritids), there are two departments, one for younger children and one for older children.
At Fågelsångens School, a competent and driven collegium works together, focusing on solutions and collaboration. We have a strong culture of responsibility. The school is undergoing a development process where collaboration is the foundation of everything we do.
- Our focus area for the after-school program is all-day learning (extended school day), recess activities, and practical-aesthetic activities.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaged primary school teacher for the after-school program. Having music in your qualifications is an advantage.
In your work, you plan, implement, and evaluate activities and recess programs. You are part of a work team where we learn from each other, plan overarching work, and solve challenges together. At Fågelsångens School, we have a functioning collaboration between school and after-school care, where all-day learning is one of our priority areas. Support in the work is provided by student health services and school management.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the activities.
- Participate in the school's development work together with the school staff.
- Participate in work team meetings.
Qualifications
The position requires adequate education. As a person, you are sensitive and have the ability to meet students with different needs. You are a clear leader in interactions with students and are interested in developing the work. You are also flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented. We expect you to be open to meeting children and adults with different backgrounds and conditions. Since we work in teams, your ability to collaborate and adapt is very important.
- Teaching certification
- Experience working as a primary school teacher/after-school educator
Employment Terms
Scope: 100%
Employment type: Permanent (probation period of 6 months applies)
Start date: 2026-08-03 or according to agreement.
