As a Quantity Surveyor (QS) with us, you will become a key player in our demolition operations. You will join our QS team, which is represented in several locations across Sweden, collaborating regularly via Teams and maintaining close contact with colleagues and managers.

This is not a purely isolated QS role, but rather a position for someone who wants to be involved in the bigger picture and has an understanding of drawings, quantities, and cost estimates. Your working day is largely self-planned, depending on your current projects, and you will be based out of our office in Botkyrka, south of Stockholm.

In this role, you will handle and be responsible for receiving and evaluating incoming inquiries. You will prepare quantity take-offs and ensure a solid foundation for the costing process. Subsequently, you will collaborate with the QS team on pricing and the structure of the estimates. Additionally, you will engage in dialogue with customers and colleagues and conduct site visits.

Together with our QS team, you will work closely with our light and heavy demolition operations, primarily in Stockholm and the Mälardalen region, though longer travel may occasionally be required.

In the long term, there are excellent opportunities for further development within costing and gradually taking on greater responsibility, including managing own estimates for light and heavy demolition, conducting handovers, and having a broader overall responsibility in the estimation process.

We believe that you, as a candidate, have previous experience in costing or experience working in the construction industry but wish to develop in a new direction.

We would like you to:

• Have previous experience in costing/estimating
• Have experience from the construction industry
• Have a good understanding of drawings and quantity take-offs
• Have experience with or an interest in costing/estimating
• Good proficiency in Excel (calculations and analysis)
• Basic knowledge of Word
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience with tools such as Wikells and Bluebeam
• Bas-U certification
• Experience working with asbestos
