Job Description

Do you want to work in a role where technology, business benefits, and development meet? We are now looking for a Production Technician who wants to help ensure that our products are manufactured in the most profitable and efficient way – both technically and economically.

You will become an important cog in our organization and report to the Production Technology Manager.

About the Role

As a Production Technician, you have a broad and varied responsibility where you contribute to the entire product lifecycle – from the industrialization of new articles to the optimization and phase-out of existing processes.

Your Main Responsibilities:

Production Technology Preparation

• Work according to preparation processes and checklists
• Ensure that requirements for safety, quality, lead times, and costs are met

Industrialization

• Introduce new articles, machines, equipment, and processes
• Ensure good manufacturability
• Responsible for time and activity planning

Optimization and Improvement

• Further develop and optimize existing articles with new technologies and materials
• Contribute to quality improvements and handle deviations

Phase-out

• Plan and execute the phase-out of articles, machines, and processes

Project Work

• Participate in NPD (New Product Development) and EPD (Engineering Product Development) projects
• Support investments in machines and equipment
• Contribute to the introduction of new methods and processes
• Drive smaller production development projects
• Prepare documentation regarding costs, lead times, and manufacturability

Basic Competencies

You have the authority required to perform your work – including the ability to interrupt activities in emergencies if necessary.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Upper secondary vocational education in engineering or equivalent competence
• At least 5 years of industrial experience
• Experience in production technology / Production development
• Ability to express yourself well in English, both verbally and in writing
