This is a consultancy assignment via Jefferson Wells, where you are employed by us but work on-site at our client's premises. For the right person, there are excellent opportunities for long-term employment and potential transition to direct employment with the client.

About the role

As a Production Technician, you will be a central link in the production process with overall technical responsibility. You act as a coordinating force in technical matters and work closely with production to ensure efficient and sustainable processes.

You drive and support improvement initiatives, analyze problems, and develop solutions together with internal functions and external suppliers.

Your main responsibilities

• Work closely with production sections and support daily operations and development.
• Identify areas for improvement and streamline production flows.
• Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Support and develop technical OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Act as the technical contact point between production, maintenance, suppliers, and production engineers.
• Develop technical solutions and improvement proposals.
• Provide technical project support in development initiatives.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who thrives in a role that combines analysis, problem-solving, and collaboration.

We would like you to have:

• Technical education, such as a high school engineering program or equivalent.
• Experience from production technology work or a similar role.
• Ability to work systematically and drive projects forward.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Good proficiency in English.

Merits

• Experience in design and creating simple drawings.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM.
• Experience in improvement work and production development.
