Jefferson Wells is continuously recruiting junior operational buyers for future consultancy assignments with leading companies in the manufacturing industry. As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to build experience in procurement, material planning, and supplier management while contributing to efficient material flows, high delivery security, and the development of modern supply chains.

About the role

As a junior operational buyer, you will become an important part of the procurement and supply chain organization. You will work closely with production, logistics, planning, and suppliers to ensure that materials and components are available according to the business's needs.

The role gives you the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of how procurement, material supply, and production interact in an international manufacturing environment.

Depending on the assignment, you may work with:

• Order placement and follow-up of purchase orders.
• Delivery monitoring and proactive handling of delivery deviations.
• Daily contact with suppliers to ensure delivery precision and availability.
• Material planning and follow-up of material flows based on production needs.
• Updating and quality assurance of information in ERP systems.
• Analysis of delivery performance and support in preparing reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaboration with functions within procurement, production, logistics, and planning to ensure an efficient supply chain.
• Participation in improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and delivery security.

As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to work in various operations and contribute to the development of modern and efficient supply chain processes.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are analytical, structured, and have a genuine interest in procurement, logistics, and supply chain. You thrive in a fast-paced environment with many contact points where problem-solving is a natural part of everyday life.

We would like you to have:

• A university or university college degree in procurement, logistics, supply chain, economics, engineering, or equivalent.
• Up to three years of experience in procurement, material planning, logistics, administration, or a similar field.
• Good understanding of material flows and supply chain processes.
• Experience working in ERP systems as well as good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with people from different functions and backgrounds. You are curious, driven by development, and have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new processes and ways of working.
