Pumpteknik is now looking for a commercially driven technical salesperson who wants to develop the business within pumps and fluid technology solutions in Southwestern Sweden, where Flygt is a key part of the offering.
About the role
As a Technical Salesperson, you are responsible for developing sales within your district, with a special focus on pumps and Flygt solutions. You handle both new and existing customers within municipal water and wastewater operations, water treatment plants, and industry, driving deals from initial contact to closing.
This role is suitable for you if you enjoy working on-site with customers, are driven by creating business, and like the combination of technology, relationships, and sales.
Your responsibilities
- Sell and develop the business within pumps, with a special focus on Flygt.
- Process new customers and develop existing customer relationships.
- Conduct customer visits, needs analyses, and quotation work.
- Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to closed deals.
- Collaborate internally to ensure the right technical solution for the customer.
Who are you?
We are primarily looking for a skilled and driven salesperson who is motivated by creating business and building long-term customer relationships.
We believe you have
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Documented ability to drive deals from first contact to closing.
- Experience in technical sales towards industry, process industry, or municipal operations.
- Good technical understanding and interest in technical solutions.
- Experience with quotation work, CRM systems, and customer responsibility.
- Professional Swedish and English in speech and writing.
- A valid driver's license (Category B).
Experience with pumps, the water and wastewater sector, or fluid technology is meritorious, but we value strong sales skills higher than specific product knowledge.

Travel and location
The position involves travel within the district and spending a lot of time on-site with customers. Overnight stays occur but are limited.
