We are looking for a Senior Network Specialist who wants to work broadly but with a clear focus on networking, in a team where quality, development, and long-term perspective are central. In this assignment with our client in Stockholm, you will help shape, operate, and improve customers' network environments – from daily operations to strategic changes and major initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Network Specialist, you work closely with customers and become a central part of the development of their IT environments. You combine operational work with advisory services, planning, and structured further development of network infrastructure.

You ensure stable operations, troubleshoot, and analyze traffic, work proactively with improvements, and drive initiatives to create robust and secure networks. The role also involves participation in migrations, upgrades, and modernization of network environments. As part of the team, you contribute to building sustainable solutions, sharing knowledge, and maintaining high quality in every delivery.

Your Profile

You are a network specialist who thrives working close to the technology but also sees the big picture in an IT environment. You combine technical depth with a structured and solution-oriented approach.

As a person, you are communicative, helpful, and confident in dialogue with both colleagues and customers. You have experience with network operations, improvement work, and working long-term with the development of network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in building, improving, and managing network environments within LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data centers
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve network-related problems using troubleshooting and traffic monitoring
• Knowledge of network security, including segmentation, tunnel solutions, and protection of critical environments
• Experience working with solutions for high availability, redundancy, and robust operational environments
• Experience leading or taking technical responsibility in initiatives regarding network infrastructure, implementations, and improved working methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with migrations, upgrades, or modernization of larger network environments
• Certifications in networking (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
• Experience with automation, monitoring tools, or scripting
• Experience working in complex or security-focused environments
