We are now looking for a Senior Solution Architect for an assignment in Stockholm where you will play a central role in the development and management of a Kafka-based integration platform with high demands on availability, stability, and scalability.

About the role

In the role of Senior Solution Architect, you will contribute to the implementation, further development, and management of a Kafka platform in a complex technical environment. The platform handles integrations between several different systems, databases, and APIs and is an important part of the organization's data and integration architecture.

The work involves:

• Implementing and further developing an Apache Kafka platform in an on-premise environment
• Building and maintaining data code that integrates different databases, APIs, and systems
• Working with monitoring, troubleshooting, and management of the platform to ensure high stability and availability
• Configuring and managing Kafka Connect and various types of connectors
• Implementing and maintaining self-built components in Kafka
• Working with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
• Collaborating closely with other teams and contributing to knowledge sharing and technical development

Your profile

We are looking for you who are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You thrive in complex technical environments, have an architectural holistic perspective, and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements:

• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• At least 9 years of experience as a solution architect
• Documented experience in setting up and administering Apache Kafka in on-premise environments, including logging, monitoring, and certificate management
• Documented experience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
• Documented experience with container technology and local orchestration
• Documented experience with Kafka Connect, including configuration of connectors for various types of data sources
• Documented experience in implementing self-developed components in Kafka

Meritorious

• Experience in designing Kafka architecture for horizontal scaling
• Experience with stream processing
