As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in sourcing, supplier development, and commercial procurement while gaining experience from complex operations where procurement is a key function.

About the role

As a junior strategic/tactical buyer, you will become part of the procurement organization and work closely with both suppliers and internal stakeholders in production, logistics, quality, and product development. You will contribute to developing the supplier base, ensuring competitive business terms, and creating conditions for a stable and efficient supply chain.

The assignments vary across different operations and categories but are often characterized by a strong focus on supplier collaboration, cost efficiency, quality, and delivery reliability.

Depending on the assignment, you may work with:

• Market and supplier analyses to identify business opportunities, risks, and areas for development.
• Sourcing activities, requests for quotation (RFQs), and evaluation of new and existing suppliers.
• Support in tenders, negotiations, and contract work together with more experienced buyers.
• Price dialogues and commercial discussions related to recurring purchases and categories.
• Follow-up of supplier performance in areas such as quality, cost, capacity, and delivery precision.
• Preparation of decision support materials, business analyses, and reports for procurement and category work.
• Analysis of cost development and identification of savings and improvement opportunities.
• Participation in cross-functional projects together with production, quality, logistics, and supply chain.
• Contribution to the development of procurement strategies, category plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a consultant, you will have the opportunity to work in different organizations and build broad competence in strategic and tactical procurement.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are analytical, business-driven, and curious about how procurement contributes to the company's results. You thrive working in a data-driven manner, building relationships, and collaborating with many different functions to create long-term value.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree in procurement, supply chain, logistics, economics, engineering, or equivalent.
• Up to three years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and interest in business and cost-driven decisions.
• Understanding of supplier relationships, sourcing, or supply chain processes.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel is a plus.
