We are currently looking for a Harness Designer for a consulting assignment with our client in the high-tech industry in Linköping. This role is suitable for you who have experience in harness design and want to work in a technically advanced environment with close collaboration between several engineering disciplines.

As a consultant, you will become part of a team working on the development and design of electrical systems, where quality, precision, and collaboration are central to the work.

About the Role

As a Harness Designer, you will be part of a team of designers creating detailed harness drawings based on overarching technical specifications. The role involves close collaboration with system, mechanical, and software engineers in a project-based format.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Design of electrical schematics
• Creation of detailed harness drawings
• 3D design within mechanical systems
• Participation in requirements specification and component selection
• Component ordering related to harness solutions
• Work within PDM systems
• Collaboration with other technical areas to ensure well-functioning holistic solutions

Your Profile

• Experience in harness design
• Experience in electrical schematic design
• Experience in 3D design within mechanical systems
• Experience in requirements specification and component selection
• Experience working in PDM systems
• Ability to work in a structured manner in a project format
• Good collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally

Merits

• Education in electronics, electrical design, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Education from TUC in Linköping or equivalent relevant university college education
• Experience from technically advanced development environments
