In the role of nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you work to provide good care, service, and healthcare to our residents. With us, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you help shape the future of elderly care.
Liljeforstorg 4 is a special housing facility focusing on dementia, nursing care, and social psychiatry, with 70 places. We have been Silviacertified since 2015. Liljeforstorg nursing home is located in the Gränby/Salabacke district near central Uppsala. You can easily get here by both bus and bicycle. We have been a self-operated facility since 2012 and work on behalf of Uppsala Municipality.

In the position of nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You work, for example, with helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, answering alarms, and being there for social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work so that all our residents can live life, for their whole life. This can range from talking, playing games, going on excursions, taking a bike ride, or coming up with some fun activity together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication management and training.
Job Description
We are currently looking for two colleagues with employment levels of 79% and 82%. One position on the dementia ward and one on the nursing care ward. The positions are permanent, and we apply a probation period of 6 months. Scheduled working hours include evenings and weekends. Start date by agreement, but earliest in August/September.
To be considered for the position, you need:
- A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
We also consider it advantageous if you have specialized training in dementia and previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.
To thrive in the role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings, while also being good at building good relationships and being service-oriented. At our workplace, we work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.
Before we offer employment, you must show an extract from the police's criminal record register. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
