We are now looking for three nurses for both special housing and home healthcare. The work is during daytime, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

In the role of a nurse, you will perform standard healthcare tasks within the municipal mandate. With us, this means, among other things, that you have your own responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating healthcare interventions (HSL). You will also be responsible for supervising the care staff, so it is important that you are prepared to take on a leading role.

Medical responsibility is carried out according to doctor's orders, where the operations have regular contact.

You will document and work in systems such as Viva, TES, APPVA, and Cosmic. We work with national quality registers such as Senior Alert, the Palliative Register, and within special housing, also the BPSD Register.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with an engagement and interest in municipal healthcare. You can be a basic registered nurse, district nurse, or dementia nurse.

To thrive and succeed as a nurse with us in Knivsta Municipality, you need to be a proactive and solution-oriented person who confidently makes decisions based on the information available. You have a natural ability to meet people with understanding and sensitivity, and you quickly grasp their needs and situation. In a changing daily life, you see opportunities rather than obstacles and adapt smoothly to new conditions. You take responsibility for your work, drive it forward with engagement, and strive to achieve the best possible results.

Collaboration is second nature to you – you build good relationships, communicate clearly, and actively contribute to a positive work environment. You also need to be flexible and able to set boundaries when necessary.

Your personal qualities are just as important as your qualifications, and we are looking for you who are initiative-taking and have excellent teamwork skills. You should enjoy varied and stimulating tasks.

A driver's license and good computer skills are required. It is meritorious if you are well-versed in municipal operations and have experience with the operational systems we use.

Terms of Employment

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Permanent position.
• Duration: Start date can be 2026-09-01 or by agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously during the recruitment process.
