Our Operations

The Team for Temporary Reinforced Interventions (TFI) is located within the reinforced outpatient care of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The team's mission is to carry out short, intensive outpatient interventions. The purpose of these interventions is to promptly stabilize child psychiatric patients. The interventions target the individual, the family, and the broader context surrounding the child/adolescent, based on where the need is assessed to be greatest. We work in pairs around each family. The interventions are mobile and primarily take place in the home, but can also occur at the clinic. Working hours are during standard office hours. Within the TFI role, there is an opportunity to conduct longer treatment interventions in some cases.

There are four full-time positions in the team, three of which are currently filled. Competence exists among other things in the family therapy method FFT, and the therapists in the team have experience/training in psychiatry and/or social work.
