Assignment Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer.

What You Will Work On

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Java 21+
• Build REST-based services, integrations, and batch processing solutions
• Design and work with enterprise architecture patterns (Jakarta EE / JPA)
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or DB2, including data modeling
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and version control workflows
• Contribute to test automation and quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams
• Support system maintenance, enhancement, and modernization
• Participate in requirement analysis and technical design discussions
• Ensure system stability, scalability, and long-term maintainability

What You Bring

• Several years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong experience with Java 21+ and enterprise application development
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and batch processing
• Knowledge of Jakarta EE and JPA-based architectures
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2) and data modeling
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, TeamCity, or Azure DevOps
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., ReadyAPI) is a plus
• Experience from banking or financial services domain is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
• Structured, responsible, and quality-driven working approach
