About the assignment

At Novare, we are a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now seeking two payroll administrators for an authority in Norrköping.

As a payroll administrator at the authority, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct and efficient handling of payroll administration for all employees. Together with your colleagues in the payroll department, you will manage payroll payments, reporting, and support to employees. This also includes handling payroll-related matters such as expense claims, advances, and system administration. You will become an important part of the authority's work and continued development.

For this role, we are looking for someone who is meticulous, self-reliant, and solution-oriented. You are confident in yourself and can take initiative. Furthermore, we see that you collaborate well with others and work in a structured manner.

The position is security-classified, and you may be required to undergo a background check and security clearance.

Examples of overall responsibilities

• Process and verify payroll data
• Generate payroll lists
• Produce reports and statistics
• Report taxes and employer contributions
• Compile time and absence reports
• Answer questions from employees (e.g., regarding salary and vacation leave)
• Perform calculations and corrections
• Daily management and leadership of operations.

Requirements for the position

• Vocational Higher Education (YH) or similar education within payroll
• At least three (3) years of work experience as a payroll administrator
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good knowledge of payroll systems
• Good knowledge of financial systems
• Good knowledge of collective agreements
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Ability to provide references from previous assignments (within the last 5 years).

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time starting August 17th and lasts for approximately 1 year, with the possibility of extension. The location is at the authority in Norrköping, with some possibility of remote work.
