Are you passionate about after-school programs and want to make a real difference in children's daily lives? Then you could be our new certified teacher in after-school care at Ektorpsringen!
Who are we?
Ektorpsringen is the central school in the Ektorp district. This autumn, we will be a two-track school for grades F-6 (Preschool to Grade 6). The school is located in relatively new premises inaugurated in 2019.
Values-based work is central to our school. The work during the school day and in after-school care creates a consistent thread in the students' learning. Our goal is for every student to succeed in their education, feel secure and enjoy their work, and that we together create a school for all.
The school has an after-school program divided into three units, two of which are organized for grades F-2 and one for grades 3-6. The after-school program works to strengthen its compensatory mission, and for the upcoming school year, it will be part of a language initiative in collaboration with the Swedish National Agency for Education.
We work in a cross-professional and close collaboration with teachers, student health services, and other staff to provide children with a secure, fun, and developmental daily life.
We are now looking for 2 certified teachers in after-school care who want to help drive the after-school program forward.
For one of the positions, we are looking for a teacher in after-school care with a focus on sports, where you, together with the school's PE teacher, teach classes from grade 1 to 6.
The second position involves a main assignment in after-school care teaching, where you plan, implement, and drive the work in the after-school program. During the school day, you serve as a resource in the classroom, with tasks directed both at the group and the individual based on the needs of the activity.
Your responsibilities
As a certified teacher in after-school care, you play a key role in the students' day. You plan, lead, and develop the teaching in after-school care based on the governing documents and the students' needs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating meaningful activities
- Creating structure and security for students, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF)
- Collaborating closely with class teachers and student health services regarding the students' overall situation
- Supporting students' learning in the classroom during the school day based on your expertise
- Actively contributing to the school's development and values-based work
- Participating in parent collaboration and development conversations related to the after-school program's mission
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in after-school care.

You have a good ability to lead yourself and would preferably have experience leading colleagues.
You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
