The Care and Social Services Department provides service, support, care, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, and is responsible for official duties according to current legislation. The department operates within elderly care, the Support and Service Act (LSS), social psychiatry, health and medical care, next of kin support, and official duties. All work is performed with the citizen in focus, based on our core values; treatment, participation, trust, and security. Job Responsibilities

As a support assistant in work-oriented day activity, you support participants in meaningful and developmental work tasks.

You work together with the individual, provide pedagogical support in daily work, and contribute to a secure, structured, and motivating environment. The goal is to strengthen independence, participation, and work capacity based on each person's unique prerequisites.

We are now looking for you who are handy, confident in your role, and have a natural ability to mentor others in practical work tasks within carpentry and basic maintenance.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education from the Child and Youth Program, the Nursing Program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent, as well as experience in carpentry and/or practical maintenance work. You have several years of experience working with people with disabilities, feel confident communicating in Swedish both orally and in writing, and hold a B driver's license, as the position involves travel. We are particularly interested in you who have worked based on clarifying pedagogy, low-affective approach, and/or positive behavioral support.
