About the workplace
Youth Outpatient Care Unit 13–20 years is part of the Child and Youth Section, which has a cohesive organization and overall responsibility for preventive work, investigations, as well as needs-assessed and non-needs-assessed interventions for children, young people, and families. Youth Outpatient Care 13–20 years consists of four different groups: Mini Maria, Myren Supported Housing, Youth Clinic, and Young People at Risk. It is to the group Young People at Risk (UIR) that we are now seeking a team leader.
UIR consists of 8 employees who work with SIG/SSPF, Youth Therapist, Youth Service, Rätt Kurva, Support Center for Young Crime Victims, and mediation. In UIR, work is carried out with both non-needs-assessed interventions and needs-assessed interventions. UIR has the task of providing support and treatment to individual young people and their families.
This is a temporary position lasting from September 1, 2026, to August 15, 2027.
Job Description
Young People at Risk is now seeking a competent, engaged, and driven team leader who wants to contribute to UIR's work to offer high-quality interventions to children, young people, and their families.
In your role as team leader, you will both lead the daily work and drive development work at the unit on behalf of the unit manager. The team leader is also an important part of both the employees' professional development and well-being at the workplace.
A large part of the role involves collaboration and cooperation both internally and externally, which is why high demands are placed on you as an applicant to be a secure and collaboration-oriented person who finds it easy to create good and trust-based relationships.
Transition work towards a new Social Services Act is ongoing at the unit, which is why it is important that you are secure in driving change processes.
The role also includes administrative tasks such as creating routines and processes, producing and following statistics, and participating in and analyzing results from systematic follow-ups of interventions. The team leader is also responsible for ensuring legal security and treatment processes in cases ongoing in the group and is an important part of the employees' daily support.
Your Profile
As a leader, you are stable, clear, and responsive. Qualities highly valued for the position are that you are structured, self-initiating, and find it easy to collaborate. You are positive and good at finding solutions and thrive with an occasionally high work pace. We also see that you have a very good ability to create good relationships and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. Good conditions for your work are important, so for support in your assignment, you have competent employees and an accessible unit manager.

We are looking for you who:

It is also meritorious if you:
- Have education in SAVRY or RBM
