Haninge Municipality is a forward-thinking municipality. In 2023, we were among the first municipalities to establish a first and second-line social services structure, a step in adapting to the future of social services and the new Social Services Act. In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions preceded by application and investigation. In our work, we focus on the target group, investigating and coordinating interventions based on evidence and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors.

The operation consists of four units: a children's unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and special functions, and a unit for foster care and contact activities. There are three groups within child investigation, two groups within youth and one intervention group, as well as intensive investigation, foster care/contact activities, family therapy/parental support, as well as administrative tasks and other support functions. Each unit is led by a unit manager, and the entire operation by an area manager. We work in a family-oriented and team-based manner based on the target groups.

We want our work to be characterized by consensus, quality, and legal certainty, and we believe it is important to develop in our work. In order to strengthen our quality and create conditions for you as a social secretary to use your competence resource-efficiently and with the best interests of the children in focus, we have chosen to organize ourselves as follows:

• There is an established structure for regular support such as case reviews and external supervision.
• Specialist social workers with a cross-operational assignment within, for example, method support, implementation, introduction, and recurring training.
• A structured introduction plan for new employees.
• An operations developer as support in our continued development with target-group-oriented working methods.
• SIP coordinators as support to ensure that children who need SIP meetings are offered them.
• Placement coordinators as support in seeking external placement forms and handling contracts.
• Administrators with the task of relieving and supporting.
• We have expanded our work with risk and needs assessments to detect and counteract children being drawn into crime. We will continue to develop our use of evidence- and knowledge-based methods as support in the investigation work.
• We have a structure to enable remote work for those who wish and based on the operation's needs.

We are now expanding our investigation groups and are looking for more social secretaries who, together with us, want to be challenged and be part of our exciting development.

Your assignment

Social Secretary within child investigation ages 0-11. You investigate the needs of children and young people for protection and support and follow up on approved interventions.

What we are looking for in you

• Social work degree
• Experience of working within the social services' authority enforcement area of children and young people
• Correct Swedish in speech and writing
• Knowledge of BBIC
• Knowledge of Signs of Safety
• Driver's license is desirable
• Knowledge of ADAD, SAVRY, Earl, Irisk, RBM is meritorious

Your competence

• As a social secretary with us, it is natural that you like to collaborate with others but also that you can work independently.
• You have an easy time creating good relationships, you are receptive and clear in your communication.
• You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, child development, and keep up with current research.
• You need to have the ability to limit your assignment and work calmly and methodically when others around you are stressed, and that you can organize, plan, and coordinate your tasks.
• We are looking for someone who can see the possibilities in complex social work, is good at collaborating, is flexible, curious, and has the best interests of the children in focus.
• We consider it natural that you are responsible, have integrity, and think quality is important.
