We are a school covering grades F-9 (preschool class to grade 9) with modern Montessori pedagogy located in central Kristianstad.

We are looking for a new colleague for the autumn term 2026 to join our upper secondary level (grades 7-9), where we have approximately 120 students. The relationship between students and staff is of great importance to us.

We are now seeking you who have a strong commitment to developing Mathematics/Natural Sciences (Ma/NO) and modern Montessori pedagogy. At a Montessori Mondial school, the teacher is expected to have prepared the learning environment for the students or the student group they are responsible for. This means:

• Ensuring that the materials students need are available.
• Ensuring the environment is appealing and clear, i.e., that there is order and tidiness.
• Ensuring the learning environment offers various opportunities for workstations.
• Ensuring the environment allows students to move around the classroom without disturbing their peers.

As an educator, you should build clear and professional relationships with all your students, act as a leader in the classroom, and have high expectations for student learning.

We are now looking for you who are qualified to teach Mathematics/Natural Sciences in grades 7-9. You need to be calm, systematic, clear, and low-affective in your interaction with students. You must truly believe that they do the right thing when they can. You are well-versed in our governing documents, and the students' learning and the development of teaching are your primary and greatest focus, in harmony with the students' well-being. Collaborating in work teams is second nature to us – we make each other better.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach Mathematics/Natural Sciences in grades 7-9.

You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and you create the conditions for learning to take place. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You can balance different demands and maintain calm in difficult situations. You have the ability to work together with others to carry out tasks and achieve goals.
