Make a difference. Every day.
Do you want to become part of a secure and cohesive work group with high competence and good camaraderie? At Ystad Health Centre, we are now looking for a therapist with competence in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to join our psychosocial team. Here, you will become part of an experienced and tight-knit team that values collaboration, development, and job satisfaction. Welcome to us!
We are proud of our health centre, which is the largest public health centre in Skåne with just over 14,600 registered patients within the "Hälsovalet" (Health Choice) system. Of these, approximately 700 children are registered at the Child Health Centre (BVC). We are a team of around 70 employees working together to provide the best possible care and service to our patients.
At the health centre, we have various clinics, including a doctor's clinic, a nurse's clinic, as well as clinics for asthma/COPD, elderly care, and diabetes. We also have physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and psychosocial activities. We already work in a cross-professional manner today, and collaboration between nurses, doctors, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, medical secretaries, and counselors is central to our important work of providing good care to the residents of Ystad. Our goal is to contribute to good health and quality of life for our patients by ensuring they come into contact with the right person and receive the right care and treatment.
Ystad Health Centre is close to the continent, has beautiful beaches and natural areas, and is within commuting distance from Lund, Malmö, and several other towns in the surrounding area.
1 position.
WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
As a therapist with us, you play a central role in offering support and conversations to patients with various needs. The work consists mainly of assessments, counseling, and talk therapy with a focus on CBT. Treatment can take place both individually, in groups, and digitally through internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT).
You will become part of our psychosocial team, which currently includes psychotherapists, counselors, nurses, and doctors. The work is largely independent, although you will have close contact with other professional categories at the health centre and will be available for consultation when needed. When you start with us, you will be offered regular supervision to ensure a secure start to your employment.
Working with us involves significant personal responsibility with varied tasks and a wide range of different patients. It can be challenging at times but is also developing. The psychosocial team has long experience, which provides great security when starting with us.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you if you have a relevant academic degree in health and social care, for example as a social worker, psychologist, or nurse, and have studied basic CBT training equivalent to level 1. To be eligible for the position, you must also have a few years of experience in assessments and talk therapy with a focus on CBT. If you belong to a licensed profession, knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. If you have experience from primary care or specialist psychiatry and/or experience with digital treatments, this is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you are a licensed health and social care counselor or psychotherapist.
Since we are in a time where digital solutions enable new ways of working with different treatments, it is important that you are a curious and development-oriented person who wants to contribute to and participate in various improvement projects. We would like you to be proactive and explore new working methods together with your colleagues, which can contribute to the development of our operations. Furthermore, it is important that you enjoy collaborating and want to contribute to our good work climate while being confident in your professional role and able to work independently with good ability to prioritize between different tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
As part of the suitability check, before deciding to offer employment, a check in the suspicion and criminal record register may be conducted.
